Candida Davis is a Success Navigator passionate about empowering students to thrive academically, personally, and professionally. She brings over seven years of experience in academic advising and student support, with a strong commitment to helping students navigate their college journey with confidence.
Candida is currently a PhD candidate in Africana and American Studies at the University at Buffalo, where her research explores cultural identity, historical memory, and resistance within Black and Afro-Indigenous communities.
She takes a holistic approach to student success, supporting goal-setting, time management, and academic planning, while intentionally connecting students with mentors and resources to guide their paths. Candida is especially dedicated to working with first-generation and underrepresented students, creating spaces where they feel seen, supported, and capable of achieving their goals.
When Candida is not working with students, she enjoys spending time traveling, gardening, and reading.
