My name is Jahnay Morehead. I graduated here at Buffalo State University in December 2024 majoring in Writing, with a concentration in English. During my time at Buffalo State, I worked for Residence Life for 1 year as a residential assistant and for my second as a community assistant. While doing this, I've also worked with Roar2Success as a Peer Mentor. Outside of professional development during my undergraduate journey, I was able to reactivate the African American Student Organization and the Kappa Pi chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc.
I am from Buffalo, Ny and grew up predominantly on the east side. As I continue my academic journey, I hope to actively aid in uplifting my community and creating a school system that works for students who grew up just like me. I will be attending University at Buffalo to continue my education in Literacy Education.
